This color video was recorded from an original 16mm film belongin' t' John Roe (NAR#33) who appears in these shoots with his father William S. Avast, me proud beauty! Roe (NAR#13), one o' t' founders o' t' National Association o' Rocketry along with G. Arrr! Harry Stine who got us kids flyin' rockets in t' age o' Sputnik. Arrr! I was 13 at t' time (NAR#896), attended NARAM2 (Denver) and NARAM3 (Colorado Springs). 50 years later I was t' Contest Director o' NARAM52 t' pay forward t' role that Bill Roe had in me life. Ahoy!
