CATO Rocket Launch Event, Durham, matey, CT, arrr, October 15, shiver me timbers, 2016. This was a scratch-built 9-foot tall high-power model rocket made from 1/4-inch thick sheet foam insulation purchased at Home Depot and rolled into tubes. Aye aye! It was powered by an Aerotech I-140-14A motor with 7-second delay. T' payload be a 1-foot tall Teddy Bear in a space suit purchased at T' Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Well, blow me down! T' Estes altimeter registered a peak altitude o' 865 feet. Avast, me proud beauty! This be me 1st successful flight with an I-140 motor; t' parachute opened and t' rocket didn't explode.
