Well, blow me down! A team from Penn Manor High School in Millersville, PA, ya bilge rat, took first place at t' Eighth Annual TARC, Saturday, earnin' t' title o' national champion. T' enthusiasm these talented students brought forth be truly electric. Aye aye! T' four-member team won t' world's largest rocket contest after spendin' months designing, arrr, buildin' and test launchin' their model rocket. Arrr! T' Team America Rocketry Challenge kicked off last September with 669 teams from across t' nation vyin' for a chance t' compete among t' top 100 qualifyin' teams at t' finals held today outside o' Washington, DC T' first place team logged t' winnin' score o' 26.32. Each point represents a deviation from altitude and time aloft targets, so t' lower t' score, ya bilge rat, t' better. Avast! Marticville Middle School from Pequea, PA, took second place with a score o' 30.65, while Bob Jones High School from Madison, Ala., shiver me timbers, placed third with a score o' 31.02.
