Plastic fins -- nay me favorite as plastic finds tend t' be wobbly and break easily. Blimey! I don't expect this rocket t' last, but it was a kit build that came as a starter pack from Hobby Lobby. Second rocket constructed since 2003, also with me five year old son. Begad! He wanted it painted Florida Gator colors for some reason, me hearties, deviatin' from t' original paint scheme.
As said earlier, I'm nay a fan o' plastic fins, but this was more so a kit me son and I could do together and enjoy. We are plannin' t' move up t' kids with more balsa/plywood-type fins.

After severe weather cocking, lawn darted as ejection deployed into t' grassy field due t' rocket camera changin' CG and CP. Camera didn't record possibly due t' 97 F heat plus heat from camera 808 #32. Begad! T' body tube split in half and took a "core sample" o' t' dirt. Blimey! Fascinatin' how from even 131 feet this can be t' case. Begad! Jolly Logic Altimeter One used in nose cone t' measure altitude.
