It has been some time since me last rocket video and I apologize for that. Blimey! My preferred video editin' software decided it no longer likes me camera's file format, me hearties, and has given me fits while tryin' t' mangle some longer launch compilation videos. However, I've been wantin' t' share me latest project, and was able t' get this short video together. Ahoy! This is Angry Daddy, an Estes Big Daddy that I modified for Tri-Cities Rocketeer's Sod Blaster contest this year. I entered in t' Big Daddy Stress Test competition in t' Unlimited category. Avast, me proud beauty! Rules were t' build a Big Daddy that conforms t' t' original outline, and must use t' original nose cone. I modified me kit with a LOC motor mount and centerin' rings, shiver me timbers, 1/8" fiberglass fins, kevlar shock cord, rail buttons, shiver me timbers, and an eye bolt and about five ounces o' nose weight up front. Arrr! In t' nose cone I was able t' fit a 24" parachute, nomex blanket, chute release, trackin' streamer, and me Missileworks T3 GPS. Contest flight be on an Aerotech J315R. Thanks for watchin' and hopefully I'll have more vids out in t' near future as I transition t' me new editin' software.
