I put t' rocket back together, arrr, loaded up another E15-4W (what’s that definition o' insanity again?), adjusted t' launch rod angle, ya bilge rat, and sent it back up. This time it went up straighter and came down in t' diametrically opposite direction; I worried it might have gone into t' road, me hearties, but it had come down short. Ya scallywag! Altitude 688 feet and time 39 seconds were better, but still well short o' simulation. Well, blow me down! Once again t' cackle fruit lived. There were only two other contestants and one disqualified with a separation on his second flight, matey, but I was very solidly in second place. Which was fine — once again, just havin' a viable entry and gettin' t' cackle fruit back was victory enough for me.
