This mini-movie includes highlights o' onboard video from a NYPower 12 launch o' me Aerotech Initiator. T' flight was short and eventful, me bucko, with more than usual spin, and a bonus delay leadin' down t' a low altitude, shiver me timbers, high velocity chute deployment. It's t' only video I've done that lingers so long on t' view o' t' clouds in t' sky. Avast, me proud beauty! T' video equipment is a BoosterVision GearCam mounted as a pair o' strapon pods. T' camera is in one pod mounted near t' top o' t' airframe. Blimey! T' battery is in another, mounted on t' opposite side o' t' airframe. T' motor is an AeroTech G33 reload. Aye aye! T' receivin' groundstation be t' GearCam receiver with a home built patch antenna. Well, blow me down! An AIPTEK MPVR digital camcorder was used t' record t' flight data and accompanyin' ground footage. Well, blow me down! T' initial flight arc, and moderate spin, me hearties, are believed t' have been due t' some rod bindin' against t' camera mount ties, ya bilge rat, combined with asymmetrical drag o' t' camera cable.
