Tried t' set t' rod for as straight a launch as possible, shiver me timbers, but rod whip caused a flight over US 27 and t' trees at that edge o' t' field. Begad! I was pretty cinched up, sure that I was goin' t' tree this one on its first flight, shiver me timbers, but chute didn't fully deploy. Begad! Missed t' wires and trees by ten feet and landed without damage in t' 1969 batter's box.
