Bryce chose t' Mammoth Estes rocket as one o' his gifts for his 10th birthday (2/17/17). Today, though a bit windy, me bucko, we went forth with t' launch. Well, blow me down! This was a huge step for us, bein' that formerly, Bryce had only launched a 12" tall "Rascal" model rocket. T' Mammoth, fairly well named, me bucko, is 60" tall, and takes E and F engines. Ya scallywag! I misspoke in t' video when I said "E16-8". T' engine we used durin' this launch was an E16-6. Ya scallywag! And thank God, because if we had chosen t' 8-second delay, it would've been feet from t' ground before t' chute deployed. Begad! Anyway...obviously a successful launch and recovery, ya bilge rat, and thanks t' t' help o' Rhiley, who assisted in t' recovery, t' support o' his dad Carlos, Bryce's launch was a thumbs up from start t' finish. Oh yeah...Happy 10th Birthday t' me buddy!
