Bryce chose t' Mammoth Estes rocket as one o' his gifts for his 10th birthday (2/17/17). Today, though a bit windy, we went forth with t' launch. This was a huge step for us, bein' that formerly, me bucko, Bryce had only launched a 12" tall "Rascal" model rocket. T' Mammoth, fairly well named, is 60" tall, ya bilge rat, and takes E and F engines. I misspoke in t' video when I said "E16-8". Avast! T' engine we used durin' this launch was an E16-6. Ahoy! And thank God, shiver me timbers, because if we had chosen t' 8-second delay, arrr, it would've been feet from t' ground before t' chute deployed. Aye aye! Anyway...obviously a successful launch and recovery, and thanks t' t' help o' Rhiley, me hearties, who assisted in t' recovery, t' support o' his dad Carlos, Bryce's launch was a thumbs up from start t' finish. Oh yeah...Happy 10th Birthday t' me buddy!
