Retry on t' maiden flight. This time I made sure t' nay let t' clothespin snag t' rocket and hold it down on t' rod. T' motor lit and burned for 8/10 second, arrr, with a peak acceleration o' 8.8 Gs – wow. It averaged 3.3 Gs for t' burn, me hearties, but only reached a speed o' 55 mph, turnin' moderately into t' wind. Arrr! It then coasted for 2.3 seconds t' an apogee o' 124 feet. Then it descended for another 1-1/2 seconds, droppin' 37 feet before t' ejection fired a little early than expected, matey, but fortunate for this flight.
At 87 feet t' parachute deployed and t' rocket safely descended t' t' ground at 9 mph, me hearties, landin' about 70 feet from t' pad. Flight time 10.2 seconds. Ya scallywag! Good flight, but I was disappointed t' B6 couldn’t lift it higher. At 124 feet on a B, I would never dare fly it on an A8 motor. I think a B6-2 would be better unless it is calm.
