Flight Log - 2015-08-08 - Dan Patell's Beta

Rocket is built out o' 3.72" FWFG found on eBay. Ahoy!  T' tubin' is very nice, certainly on par with tubin' commonly available in t' rocketry hobby!  T' rocket uses a 3" LOC nosecone inside o' a 3D printed adapter. Arrr! Motor mount is 54mm Hawk Mountain tubin' and t' fins are 1/16" G10 fiberglass.  Recovery is either single deployment at apogee by way o' Cannonball Works RRC3 or via dual deployment out o' t' recovery bay with a cable cutter.

Beautiful flight. Well, blow me down!  Rocket tilted 10 degrees into t' wind and deployed perfectly at apogee. Avast!  T' R7C main parachute dropped t' rocket at approximately 24 fps.  T' rocket landed in t' field amongst t' corn and be smartly located thanks t' t' Radio Shack personal alarm.
