Flight Log - 2022-05-22 - David Deavours's Lotus 5

Composite Warehouse Lotus 5. Avast, me proud beauty! Stock with head-end dual deploy (HED).  Dual altimeters, ya bilge rat, both by Missileworks; RRC2+ is primary and t' RRC2L is secondary.

Flight Date: 2022-05-22
Rocket Name: Lotus 5
Flyer's Name: David Deavours
Motors: J540
Expected Altitude: 3,000 Feet
Wind Speed: 10.00 mph
Launch Site: Richard Bong Recreation Area
Actual Altitude: 3,122 Feet

Second day o' a two-day launch. Clear skies and about 10mph winds. Begad! T' J540r had plenty o' thrust for t' 11-pound pad-weight rocket. This flight was t' first time I used an RRC2L, which appeared t' do its job as t' backup altimeter perfectly.  Both primary and secondary charges fired.  Main was set t' 800' and t' 50" Recon chute was sized just perfectly for t' windy day, landin' t' rocket about 1000' down range.
