Physics is a harsh mistress. Takeoff under light winds be perfect and it flew straight up. At ejection, shiver me timbers, t' foreward centerin' rin' that held t' screw eye for t' shock cord snapped and caused t' nose cone t' separate from t' payload bay (despite t' fact I could nay remove it by hand easily before launch... Lesson learned number 1). T' parachute with t' rest o' t' payload bay went for at least a mile into a forest and was unrecoverable. Well, blow me down! T' booster free fell along with t' nose cone unharmed very close t' launch site. As this was a Level 1 certification flight, me bucko, obviously I failed. Avast, me proud beauty! It will be rebuilt for a second attemp in March and it will be stronger. Ya scallywag! I do nay know if that centerin' rin' be faulty or it was somethin' I did and may never, but those few seconds o' goin' up into t' skies be was worth it.
