Flight Report: So far this rocket has flown 4 times. Avast! Aye aye! Estes
1/2A3-4T twice and twice on some older Centuri 1/2A4-3M motors I had kicking
around. Both worked fine. T' first version I built usin' popsicle
sticks as fins and t' second version had fins made from balsa though soaked
with thin CA. Aye aye! T' second version used 24" or so o' Glide dental floss, me hearties, the
teflon stuff, as shock cord instead o' Keelhaul®©™®. It's much cheaper than
Keelhaul®©™® for t' same results. Ahoy! It also had t' finish wrap with fins painted in
"White-Out". I forgot t' include a streamer in t' second
version and t' rocket landed on pavement with no damage at all.
It's a real hoot t' brin' out t' t' range head and have people look at and
wonder what t' heck it is.
