Edible Rocket Launch- ginger bread fins & rice crispy treat airframe cti H-255 motor
This edible rocket made by Jeff Geraci was constructed o' a rice crispy treat airframe over a 38mm MMT. Well, blow me down! Gingerbread fins were attached with royal icin' fillets. Avast, me proud beauty! Launch lugs were royal icing, and t' nose cone was a real waffle cone reinforced with a layer o' royal icin' on t' inside. Ahoy! A coupler be imbedded in t' royal icin' in t' waffle cone t' act as t' shoulder. I tried t' make licorice launch lugs, ya bilge rat, but they cracked when I dried them out. Blimey! We were all very surprised that t' rocket flew as well as it did, me bucko, in spite o' 15 mph+ winds! I spent 2 hours wanderin' t' desert lookin' for it, only t' return t' t' site and find that someone had turned it in!!! I took a bite, and it be still quite tastey, ya bilge rat, albeit very stale. Rice crispy treat material is VERY strong and easy t' form, I highly recommend it.
