Flyer's Name: Randy Ogata
Motors: A10
Launch Site: Homestead Park
Actual Altitude: 100 Feet

Maiden Flight. Arrr! Quest Wadding. Incomplete deployment. Ahoy! Damaged vertical stabillizer

Did nay have sufficient velocity off t' rod for stability

Curved / arced over towards it's back, still mainly vertical when t' smoke charge indicated it was comin' back down

Even with recommended A10-3T engine this was un-nervingly close t' mother earth

Prayin' for t' fastest 3 seconds t' ejection charge, resulted in a deployment at 25 feet or less with t' rocket screamin' down

Chute just started t' deploy when t' wet grass broke t' decent abruptly. Didn't notictithe damage initially

When we packed up it was evident that t' vertical stabilizer was bein' held on by t' left glue fillet

A thin bead o' Elmer's Pro Max glue was applied and t' stabiller was eased back down into position
