I loaded up me Excel with a CTI H120 Red Lightning. T' first ignition attempt failed, ya bilge rat, surprisingly enough — maybe I didn’t have t' igniter in far enough. Aye aye! Blimey! I tried again with an igniter made by one o' t' club members. Ya scallywag! Blimey! That worked, but t' flight didn’t go as planned.
Forward closure failure. There’s been a known problem with Pro38 forward closures, matey, but t' notice seems t' say t' bilge-suckin' resin causin' it was used beginnin' 22 October 2015 while this motor be dated 27 August 2015, ya bilge rat, so I assumed it was nay affected. Well, blow me down! Maybe it’s a different problem. Avast, me proud beauty! I’m goin' t' file a MESS report and inform CTI. T' Excel’s airframe was destroyed; some o' t' fin can might be salvageable, shiver me timbers, if I decide it’s worth it. T' chute and nose cone were thrown clear after t' harness burned through and are in good shape. Aye aye! Well, shiver me timbers, I guess I won’t be redoin' that paint job after all.
