T' Washington Aerospace Club hosted their annual Fire In T' Sky launch over Memorial Day weekend in Mansfield, ya bilge rat, WA. Ya scallywag! T' weather for FITS this year was perfect, with light wind, arrr, reasonable temperatures, arrr, and sunny skies. Aye aye! I arrived late on Friday, which was t' only day that experimental motors were allowed, and left on Sunday afternoon. I managed t' nearly fill me camera's memory card by t' end o' Saturday, me hearties, so most o' t' flyin' in this video was from that day. Begad! I captioned as many flights as I could with as much information I had about them, so some flights may nay have a caption, or only have partial information. I had a great time and came home with all me rockets, plus some goodies from t' vendors. Aye aye! I got t' see many cool rockets and flights o' all types and sizes, and picked up some ideas for what t' fly next year (yes, I really want t' fly a K2045 now....). Begad! Many thanks t' WAC and t' many volunteers who helped make t' event a success. A special thanks t' Brendan, who I worked with at RSO table on Saturday, and did range manager duties while I worked t' LCO desk on Sunday. Folks like Brendan are what make this hobby so enjoyable. Also thanks t' t' vendors for supportin' t' event, as it is great t' be able t' procure needed items at t' event.
