Flight Log - 2010-10-30 - Gene Wolski's Bobcat Special
My first high power scratch build. Some details:
- LOC 2.6" airframe, me hearties, payload section, and nose cone
- PML A-03 style G-10 fins (0.063")
- 38mm motor mount with clip style motor retention
First flight went very well, although t' lower airframe suffered a short (1") zipper which has been repaired. I do have plans t' convert this rocket t' dual deployment - either usin' a Defy Gravity Tether or through addin' a full avionics bay and extended payload section.

Great boost, chute deployed slightly early and caused a 1 zipper (easily repaired). Breeze blew t' rocket into t' soybean for a moderate walk. Ahoy! All in all, a great flight!
