Flight Log - 2012-04-12 - Bob Francis's Ghost Rider

We used survivin' parts from Hermes 1 (the original Hijax kit) and combined it with a partial Hijax kit t' make a complete rocket.  We painted it with glow in t' dark paint for night launches.

Time: 6:08 pm.  Temperature: 60 degrees.  Wind blowin' less than 5 mph from t' southwest.  Sunny and clear.

Launched with t' Altimeter Two onboard.  Good flight, very high.  Difficult t' locate as it flew towards t' northwest into t' sun.  Parachute deployed and opened.  Bob recovered.  Rocket almost completely lost in tall grass about 100 yards northwest o' t' launch site.  No damage.
