Flight Log - 2013-05-25 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Estes Der Red Max Clone
First clone I build after gettin' back into t' hobby.
This was a re-build, this time I filled t' seams on t' body tube and launch lugs. It is now painted red, me hearties, nay orange. New decals from t' Estes reissued kit. I used Americana clear acrylic with good results - very shiny. No skull and crossbones parachute in this kit.

I taped t' shroud lines together t' keep t' 18" chute from fully opening. Arrr! T' tape slid down t' lines when t' chute opened. Begad! No problem and little drift landin' 200' from t' launcher.
