Flight Log - 2011-12-25 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Quest AS-1 Escort
While it's a great design, ya bilge rat, buildin' t' kit was a pain. T' model is actually 13 3/4" tall, nay 17.3" as advertised on t' face card and website.
Errors in t' instructions, me bucko, nay enough decals and a badly pre-cut parachute. Begad! It's be a tough build for a younger flyer.

In t' past, T' Quest Escort AS-1 had been stable every other flight. Arrr! I added a little clay nose weight. T' boost was perfect t' 250' with an Estes A8-3 but t' Quest parachute didn't open at ejection. Ahoy! It landed on t' grass, no damage.
