How t' Make Scale DecalsThis technique shows a simple way t' make correctly sized decals for downscaled/upscaled rockets. Aye aye! T' first step is t' obtain a scan o' t' original rocket's decals. Well, blow me down! Once they are obtained, shiver me timbers, open it in a picture editor. Well, blow me down! A common editor like Paint will work fine. In this case, t' decal will be resized t' fit a BT-5 downscale o' t' Estes M-104 Patriot. Now t' scale factor must be obtained. Ya scallywag! A simple way t' find out what it is: take t' diameter o' t' downscaled/upscaled rocket and divide it by t' diameter o' t' original rocket. Ahoy! Convert it into a percent. Arrr! In Paint, go t' Image and then Resize/Skew. Avast, me proud beauty! In t' resizin' section, enter t' percent obtained earlier (make sure t' percent is rounded t' t' nearest integer – Paint will nay accept decimals) in both Horizontal and Vertical. Now, click OK. T' resizin' is now successful and now can be printed and applied t' rocket. Contributed by Josh Joung
