I haven't found any pads t' sute me. Begad! So, me bucko, this is a Pad I'm workin' on for HPRs that can use a 1010 or 1515 rod that is stable and will nay flex upright when t' rocket is launchin' at a angle. This is a work in progess and findin' time t' work on it has been hard lately, so if you're followin' this bear with me I'll get it done.

Here is a drawin' o' how it's t' look when finished. A copy o' t' PDF and t' CAD DXF for t' laser is at the bottom o' t' Build if you would like. Avast!

Please leave any comments you may have, me hearties, fresh ideals are always walcome!

T' Sides and bottom have been cut with a laser at t' local shop out of 3/16" plate. T' CAD DXF file can by down loaded below if needed.Laser be t' way t' go, nice and smooth, no grindin' and ready t' weld. Avast! t' holes and slots are perfect!

Next, I'm fittin' it all together and workin' on t' piece that will hold t' 1010 or 1515 rod. I'm usin' 3 1/4" X 1/2" bolts into 80/20 T-slot nuts. It makes it a little hard t' mount t' rail but makes a very ridgid launch rail. Begad! I drilled 1 more 1/4"  hole and put a built in it t' keep t' rail from slidin' down t' far. Next will be t' cut a angle on t' front for a blast plate.

I've changed these t' hex bolts, thought these would be to hard t' work with.

3/8" X 3 1/2" Stainless steel bolts was used for t' pivot point and t' side. Avast, me proud beauty!

Next I'm cuttin' a piece o' t' 2x3 tubin' t' weld in t' bottom o' t'

side plates t' give me t' side base t' bolt t' t' bottom.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My tubin' for t' legs will be here today. I've ordered 1" X 1" squire with .120 wall and 3/4" X 3/4" that should slide up into t' 1" t' make removable legs. cost $43.33  includes $16.19 Shipping. Ahoy! Should start cuttin' them out this Sunday. Ahoy! I should be tack weldin' things come monday and things will really start takin' shape.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3/4" squire tubin' with 1/8" wall cut t' 3' each. should make good legs.

The base starts with a piece o' plate cut by t' laser t' give me t' angle

I wanted for the legs. T' t' right, ya bilge rat, you see t' pieces that will set t' angle needed. Aye aye!

Need t' Cut t' bottom o' t' tubin' t' match t' angle.

I'm goin' t' have some grindin' t' make them fit.

It fits! Just a little more gridin' and 3 more t' make.
