Ikaruga Flight Session - Oct 11 2014 - We got ourselves a Griffon!

Finally, matey, t' first Condore Griffon C110, designated "Ikaruga", takes t' t' skies in a series o' three flights, rangin' from a checkride t' a full out envelope expansion! Unlike X11, t' Griffon does nay use 29mm motors for regular flights, but t' small motors are still used for t' checkride. Well, blow me down! This new model can endure far more stress and provide safe responsive controls even at t' top ascent speeds which can reach 250mph! T' flights in t' video are marked 2, me bucko, 3 and 4. Ikaruga flew once in late August without controls and electronics. Begad! T' profile checked out for flight but t' shock cord snapped at t' end, ya bilge rat, resultin' in a crash. T' aircraft was subsequently repaired and readied t' fly on her full set o' electronics & controls. Flight #4 marks a record long 22s post-apogee cruise, somethin' that can be eventually extended t' 30-40s. Begad! T' object o' t' cruise is nay necessarily flyin' as long as possible, but returnin' as close t' t' facilities as possible. Begad! More flights are planned for May and July 2015 followed by a possible second envelope expansion t' "K" impulse motors in August 2015. Well, blow me down! Motors in this video, in order: CTI I204 Imax 29mm, CTI I218 White Thunder 54mm and CTI J244 White Thunder 54mm
