Flight Log - 2010-11-13 - K Sonesen's Flatblack (Tube Fin)
This is a copy o' Larry Brand's "Flat Black" which can be found here on EMRR. I built mine as per t' instructions right down t' t' flat black paint scheme. In t' interest o' better visibility however, arrr, I have added two 1" wide rings o' prismatic tape around t' airframe. Avast, me proud beauty! T' Flat Black is a rocket that really shows what can be done with low impulse/long burnin' Estes E9 motors.

Fourth flight. Full power this time. Great launch but I lost it overhead. Avast! Another flier was able t' track it and pointed it out t' me. Arrr! Since then I've added two wide bands o' Sky Sheen t' increase visibility.
