Flight Log - 2012-06-23 - Jacob Griffin's Batray XL
This rocket is a modified Madcow Super Batray. I added a payload section and an av bay t' t' rocket in order t' make it dual deploy capable. T' fins, t' payload bay, matey, and t' leadin' edge o' t' aft body tube are all fiberglass reinforced. This rocket has a 38mm motor mount and has been flown on t' new Aerotech J510W (second only t' t' Loki J1000LW). This rocket, weighin' in at only 6 pounds with no motor, will haul butt when a full J is put into it.

This rocket flew in a drag race with three other rockets at Southern Thunder 2012. Those three rockets all flew on K motors and mine flew on a large J. Ironically, t' Batray XL beat all three o' them off o' t' pad by at least 15 feet. It was cool!
