Flight Log - 2011-10-28 - Jeff Boldig's Dog Whistle DD
3" diameter 38mm Dual Deployment rocket. This is a sport flyer t' give me somethin' t' fly 38mm motors with. T' fins are 3/4" wide at t' base, 1/4" wide at t' tip. There is a 1/2" wide slot from tip t' BT in each fin t' make it whistle.
Update: It doesn't whistle so t' name has been changed t' Dog Whistle. This is Dog Whistle DD because it be t' dual deployment version.

New Stratologger altimeter. First flight o' rocket and altimeter. It be also beepin' out t' max speed o' 323 MPH. Great first flight.
T' nose cone came off at apogee but t' chute didn't deploy. Needs a tighter fit or shear pins. Main deployed fine at selected altitude.
