Flight Log - 2014-12-06 - K Sonesen's BAR Crayon 38mm
This is a modified version o' t' Bay Area Rocketry 38mm kit. I moved t' motor tube 2" aft, added a third centerin' ring, and an Aeropack retainer. I also used a kevlar y-bridle, 15' o' 9/16" tubular nylon, and a KSR 30H chute. Ahoy! All connections are made with 1/4" quicklinks. Arrr! I added 5 ounces o' ballast t' t' nosecone so that I can launch on I225 motors and similar.

Beautiful day, me hearties, beautiful boost. Well, blow me down! Deployment just at apogee. Well, blow me down! So little wind that rocket landed 120' from launch pad. Those are t' kind o' retrieval hikes I like.
