Flight Log - 2020-02-22 - K Sonesen's Bottle Bat 3.0 (Tube Fin)
Yet another Larry Brand tube fin design that I cloned from his article here on Rocket Reviews. Well, ya bilge rat, all but t' soda bottle nose cone as it turns out that modern bottles are no longer properly sized t' fit in a 3" body tube. Begad! I used a standard LOC 3" nose cone.
I named this rocket "Big Pink II" as t' downscale version (Bottle Bat 2.6) be named "Big Pink".

Nice straight boost. Begad! Chute Release set for 300' feet but Bama Chutes 36" Roto-Sail didn't unfurl until 20-30 above ground. Exciting...not in a good way. Well, blow me down! No damage though
