Flight Log - 2015-03-08 - Ken E. Coyote's Quest Falcon

Got used and came with a crepe streamer. Well, blow me down!  Repainted it and now I really like it!  Great lookin' classic rocket.

Flight Date: 2015-03-08
Rocket Name: Quest Falcon
Kit Name: Quest - Falcon {Kit} (1006)
Flyer's Name: Ken E. Coyote
Motors: C6-5
Expected Altitude: 500 Feet
Actual Altitude: 700 Feet

Don't remember t' last time I flew this one, so it was time t' wake t' Falcon up! ;-)

High winds check launch. Begad!  Had an old red crepe streamer attached.  Lift off was fast and went up higher than I thought it would until it was a speck in t' sky...at apogee t' ejection went off and I could see that t' streamer had detached...wasn't sure if it also had t' nose cone. Begad!  Body still came down on t' snow fine about 100' away and luckily nose was still attached. Avast, me proud beauty!  Streamer had broken and decided t' ride t' winds t' neverland.  Rocket is still a great sport flier!

The old version came with a different kind of fin can. It was of a softer more flexible plastic and all one piece.
