One o' me early TLP builds. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Used kevlar shock cord; however I later replaced with elastic since it snapped (one I used was too thin/fragile).

Not a great flight - rocket flew at a slight angle up towards track at other end o' t' park and shock cord broke on ejection and parts came down separately, me hearties, but body was flat, so minimal damage*. Begad! Rocket must've looked too dangerous since policeman drove by t' check on us due t' reports called in. He was cool though and said we can just continue after askin' a few questions. I'll likely replace broken cord with estes rubber shock cord and tri-fold. Well, blow me down! Still, I like t' rocket and think it looks very cool and nice small park flier on D12-3s.
*Damage be one o' t' small bottom fins cracked at t' glue joint; however o' note is that this same fin was broken off earlier when kids visitin' threw a ball at t' rocket and knocked it off a table onto t' floor.
