Flight Log - 2003-10-27 - Kirk Groeneveld's IRIS

This be me second model rocket, level 2, ya bilge rat, and very similar t' t' first. Ahoy! Blimey! Have learned a great deal about how t' do it. Begad! Blimey! Went very fast. Avast! Blimey! Expect t' fly with an A, matey, and 2 B engines.

With t' loan o' an igniter and usin' club launch rod, t' IRIS flew straight and high, delayed a bit before deployment, but with favorable chute and steady wind, drifted NE t' gentle touchdown within t' field.  A few additional red marks from t' nosecone were observed on t' body, indicatin' some impact after deployment. Dog Barf waddin' worked well and no problems observed.
