Flight Log - 2013-07-15 - Ryan Catanesi's Kwiksilver
This is a barebones design. 54mm class airframe with a 38mm motor.
Kwiksilver features a G12 Fillament wound fiberglass airframe AND nosecone from Performance Rocketry. She has 6061-T6 aluminum fins, matey, centerin' rings, me bucko, and bulkheads that i cut with a plasma cutter. Ya scallywag! Blimey! She has an avbay/coupler o' aluminum from part o' an old, unusable 54mm motor case.
Kwiksilver sports t' 38/1320 motor from Rouse-Tech , flyin' t' AeroTech J510W t' about 10,500 feet.
She is dual deploy, with a Featherweight Raven2 and a Perfectflite stratologger.
