Launching 5,000 Model Rockets To Break World Record

T' U.S. Space & Rocket Center honored t' Rocket City engineers, ya bilge rat, scientists, and technicians who made t' legendary July 16, 1969 launch possible. On Tuesday morning, t' U.S. Arrr! Space & Rocket Center launched 5,000 model rockets simultaneously t' break a Guinness Book o' World Records. On July 16, 1969, at 8:32 a.m., shiver me timbers, a Huntsville-designed Saturn V rocket lifted off from Cape Kennedy carryin' t' Apollo 11 crew o' Commander Neil Armstrong, shiver me timbers, Lunar Lander Pilot Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin and Command Module Pilot Michael Collins t' t' moon. T' previous Guinness World Record o' 4,231 model rockets were launched at Teylingen College durin' a European Space Science Convention in t' Netherlands, in t' summer o' 2018.
