This project is a transformation o' t' Estes "Magician" into a custom rocket called t' Boogie Bee. Avast, me proud beauty! T' Magician had a hard landin' and t' tip o' t' body tube be slightly damaged. Aye aye! Initially I planed t' just repair t' rocket but after cuttin' away t' damaged portion I decided t' repaint t' rocket and give it a new look.
I refinished t' body with Createx auto-air yellow. T' auto-air paint has a nice finish and since its a water base thar be really very little fumes. Blimey!
T' nose cone and transition have been re-painted black, matey, also usin' t' auto-air paint. Since both o' these parts are glued into t' clear payload section rather than try t' separate t' parts, I left t' silver as is. Aye aye! T' silver should go with t' rockets new look pretty well.
At t' College Stadium store in t' Mall I picked up a Georgia Tech Bee and Printed t' new Boogie Bee name out onto Testors waterslide clear decal paper.
This is just about finished, matey, I just need t' clear coat t' whole rocket and it will be ready t' fly. T' two black rings are made out o' contact paper.
