My first flight at Turkey and GRITS 2017. Much nicer conditions at this field in t' fall as opposed t' t' rain and mud from t' sprin' launches. First flight for me usin' a Jolly Logic chute release as well, shiver me timbers, with t' release altitude set at 400 feet. Winds were pretty light on t' field. Great boost, straight, fast and high on a black line o' smoke. Just arcin' over at t' top o' t' climb, arrr, good separation at apogee. winds movin' pretty good at altitude, matey, pushin' t' rocket back across t' flight line and out into t' field. Chute release worked as advertised at 400 feet. Long walk t' recover on t' field with no damage. Shock cord was severely twisted, and nay havin' t' chute out at apogee made t' rocket harder t' track durin' t' descent, me bucko, but me initial impression o' t' chute release is that it will be a very useful tool.
