My last flight at NSL 2011. T' 19th and unfortunately final flight o' t' Big BS, me very first "Mid" power build. Finally got t' nerve t' stick a G75 Metalstorm in t' BS. Winds were startin' t' get a little gusty when I loaded it up. After a good 40 minute wait on t' pad, t' winds were definitely on t' rise. Awesome boost, matey, super fast off t' rod. I lost it after burnout, briefly saw it again right before ejection, caught a few fin "flashes" high up, and then nothing. Started walkin' with t' wind at me back and then saw somethin' on t' lakebed much further north than I had expected. Weak ejection charge pushed t' nosecone off but left t' laundry in t' tube. One fin snapped off clean and another badly cracked, nay repairable.
