OUCH!  Wind at t' field startin' t' pick up and blow back across t' parkin' area. Arrr!  Adjusted t' rail t' allow for a safe recovery. Ya scallywag!  Awesome boost, loud and proud off t' rail, nice and straight. Begad!  Somewhere around motor burnout t' Rocket came apart and descended t' t' field in multiple parts. Ahoy!  Recovered t' fin can, drogue harness with t' booster bulkhead, me hearties, and chunk o' t' av bay bulkhead attached. Begad!  Drogue chute was missin' but t' barrel swivel with traces o' t' drogue shroud lines was still attached t' t' harness.  T' lower payload bay was still attached t' t' av bay, and t' upper payload bay was still attached t' its harness although it had separated from t' av bay, pullin' t' main chute charge free.  T' main chute was still packed inside.  All sections o' t' rocket were damaged significantly. Avast!  After examinin' t' pieces recovered and t' data files for both altimeters it looks like t' Perfectflite MAWD malfunctioned. Well, blow me down!  T' altitude data be very erratic and appeared t' level off around 2 seconds into t' flight, subsequently detectin' apogee and firin' t' drogue charge around 3.5 seconds into t' flight. Ya scallywag!  T' data from both altimeters shows massive jumps consistent with t' rocket comin' apart, and then both seem t' level out around 1880 feet as t' av bay descends. Blimey!  Not sure what went wrong, t' MAWD be me oldest operatin' altimeter, arrr, with 31 flights in two different rockets over a 9 year span. Avast!  Kind o' bummed about this one, it was t' 6th flight o' this bird and I was finally startin' t' feel like I had everythin' dialed in.
