Finally had t' right winds t' put Old Glory up on a "K" I have had built for several months.  Awesome boost, shiver me timbers, straight, fast and loud off t' rail. Arrr!  Good drogue deploymeant at apogee, good main at 700 feet.  A little bit o' wind at altitude had it out near t' back o' t' field.  I wasn't concerned, but when I hiked out t' recover it I discovered that t' rocket had settled in a nice arc along t' shore o' a settlin' pond.  I also discovered that t' bottom conformal rail guide had torn off durin' launch (it was found later in t' day near t' pads).  I had mounted t' guides on a small stack o' "shims" cut from scrap BT t' get enough clearance for a rail t' feed through one o' t' tube fins, and one o' t' BT shims simply tore loose.  Should be an easy fix, and hopefully this doesn't prove t' be a weak point in t' build. Avast, me proud beauty!  T' Perfectflite MAWD reported 3823 feet, and t' Stratologger reported 3869 feet.
