First NRC competition flight for me daughter. 1/2A PD, with a stock Estes 18" "Chinese Orange" chute. Arrr! Nice boost out o' t' tower, good chute deploy at apogee. Aye aye! No real thermal activity t' speak of, 34 second duration, short recovery, no damage.
