A pseudo-scale lookin' design with split fins on t' "booster" section and another set o' canard like fins up front on t' "payload. Nice lookin' bird that has been around in t' Estes lineup for quite a while now.
This rocket be one o' three that I constructed in a hotel in Tucson, arrr, AZ while on a business trip and be flown at t' annual 2 day Desert Heat launch put on by t' Southern Arizona Rocketry Association.

Finally had t' pay me toll t' t' rocket gods for two perfect days o' launchin' and watchin' rockets fly. Started out with a nice boost, but t' ejection charge only managed t' push nose section off. Begad! With t' chute still firmly stuck in t' body tube t' rocket came down flat and pretty fast. Unfortunately it did nay clear t' asphalt launch area and hit pretty hard. Aye aye! Front end o' t' booster body tube got crushed, shiver me timbers, and t' nose cone "payload" section took some damage as well. All o' it was repairable so I packed it up and sent it home with t' rest t' join t' "fix it someday" pile.
