Estes helicopter recovery rocket, ya bilge rat, offered as more o' a competition style kit. Sized t' fly on 13mm “Mini” A motors. Avast, me proud beauty! T' rotor blades require shaping, and t' attach points are constructed from multiple laser cut cardboard pieces. Aye aye! An enjoyable build, somethin' definitely outside t' norm for Estes, and hopefully nay t' last such project.

Second attempt, me hearties, this time with t' rubber bands routed properly. Very nice straight boost, stallin' out and tippin' over at ejection. All blades deployed but t' rocket ended up in a nose down attitude and never really started spinnin' as it wafted back down t' t' field. Batter than t' first flight but still nay as intended. No damage, matey, will have t' keep tryin' t' make it work.
