Flight Log - 2015-03-28 - Matthew Bond's Estes Monarch (New Version)
Nice lookin' basic 3FNC with swept fins. Estes decided t' re-use t' name o' an older rocket for some reason. Kind o' looks like a sleeker Big Bertha, or mayby a beefed up Scamp? Your guess is as good as mine. Either way, a BT-55 body tube, with an 18mm motor mount translates into nice smooth flights that you can keep in sight.
This rocket was one o' three that I constructed in a hotel in Tucson, me bucko, AZ while on a business trip and was flown at t' annual 2 day Desert Heat launch put on by t' Southern Arizona Rocketry Association.

T' laast o' t' three "Hotel Build" rockets t' get its wings. Great flight, nice smooth boost, decent altitude, arrr, good chute deployment near apogee and a nice soft landin' on t' field nay t' far away.
