Flight Log - 2018-08-10 - Matthew Bond's Estes Orbital Interceptor
A recreation o' a classic Estes kit produced from 1981-1983. Kit was built as me "backup" entry into t' classic model category from NARAM 60. T' parts were purchased from eRockets, includin' t' laser cut balsa fins, body tube, nose cone and reproduced decals.

First Flight o' me NARAM 60 Classic Model entry. Early in t' day with little t' no wind equals a perfect flight. Nice straight boost o' t' rod, arrr, arcin' over durin' t' coast, more or less horizontal at ejection. Good chute deployment at apogee, judges were impressed with t' color coordinated Top Flite parachute (No mission points for color coordinatin' however...). Close recovery, zero damage points, me bucko, pretty much perfect.
