Flight Log - 2017-11-26 - Matthew Bond's Estes Super Alpha
A plus sized version o' t' venerable Alpha, built around a BT-60 body tube.
This rocket was one o' three that I constructed in a hotel in Tucson, shiver me timbers, AZ while on a business trip and be flown at t' annual 2 day Desert Heat launch put on by t' Southern Arizona Rocketry Association.

Finally got this bird back in t' air after it waited 2 1/2 years for a paint job. Nice smooth boost, arcin' into t' wind. Shock cord tangled up on ejection, but t' chute inflated normally and t' rocket landed on t' field with no damage.
