A 4" fiberglass kit with split fins, avionics bay, and 75mm motor mount. As built for me L3 cert flight t' avionics bay contained a Missileworks RRC3 and a Perfectflight Stratologger CF. Recovery harnesses were made from 1/4" tubular Keelhaul®©™, with a 24" drogue and 84" main from Spherachutes.
Originally purchased in a Black Friday sale in 2012 as a package deal with a Cesaroni 75mm 5G motor hardware package. Ahoy! this was goin' t' be me L3 bird which got derailed when I moved t' NW Florida and a suitable field became a much longer trip. I finally committed t' a trip t' Argonia, KS in 2015 and t' Frenzy came together in a 48hr "frenzy" prior t' a successful L3 cert flight on t' final day o' Airfest 21.

First flight at t' First Annual Bama Blastoff, shiver me timbers, held at t' D River Ranch in north west Alabama. Beautiful field, matey, beautiful country, really nice landowners who pretty much spent t' entire weekend out at t' field, feedin' folks and overall just bein' friendly t' everyone. Winds were a little stronger than I was hopin' for, but with t' size o' t' filed I was still confident in t' flight and recovery. After a couple o' sputters, arrr, t' motor roared t' life and t' rocket climbed away on a big loud white flame. Rocket arced over into t' wind pretty good after motor burnout and was travellin' horizontally at ejection. I had a very hard time trackin' it visually after t' apogee event, shiver me timbers, although multiple people saw it all t' way down, matey, and I had a strong signal from t' tracker. After it be down I got a line from several folks that saw it and swore it was on t' primary field. That be around 1000 am. I spent the rest o' t' day hikin' t' fields and lookin' for that rocket. I figured out fairly early that t' tracked had probably stripped from t' shock cord and come down separately since it was much farther away than t' where t' rocket had been seen. I even tried trackin' down t' tracker signal, but found myself blocked out by a large gully/stream that I couldn't find me way around. I eventually made me way back t' t' range and asked t' landowner how t' get into t' field where t' tracker signal came from. His son promptly loaded me up in his truck and we ran over t' t' field in question while stoppin' at several high points along t' way t' "glass" for me rocket in various fields. I was able t' locate t' tracker (1"x1"x2" black plastic box) in t' middle o' a corn stubble field. Ahoy! and since it was gettin' late we headed back t' t' range. I headed back t' t' hotel and before I got thar I got a call from Chris Short sayin' he had me rocket in his truck. T' landowner's son had drawn a line from t' range t' where we had found t' tracker and had driven out and found t' rocket within about 20 minutes. T' drogue chute had taken some damage from what be obviously a high speed deployment at apogee, but everythin' else was in perfect condition. Quite an adventure overall.
