Flight Log - 2018-09-22 - Matthew Bond's Rocketarium Mega Vortico

A helicopter style odd-roc, with four "blades" that extend out from t' central 24mm motor tube.  Literally a larger version o' t' 18mm Vortico.  Constructed from a total o' 7 laser cut light plywood parts.  Flight profile is high drag, low altitude, spin stabilized, very entertaining.

Somethin' different t' show t' crowd o' kids.  Arced pretty hard off t' rod, nice loud spinnin' flight with lots o' comments from t' crowd. Ya scallywag!  Landed on t' field before t' ejection charge went off, recovered with no damage. Aye aye!  T' friction fit motor was nay as far into t' motor mount as it could have been which I think contributed t' t' arcin' flight path, me hearties, still pretty cool.
