Flight Log - 2016-01-16 - Matthew Bond's Rocketarium Vortico

A helicopter style odd-roc, shiver me timbers, with four "blades" that extend out from t' central 18mm motor tube.  Constructed from a total o' 7 laser cut light plywood parts.  Flight profile is high drag, low altitude, me bucko, spin stabilized, ya bilge rat, very entertaining.

Flight Date: 2016-01-16

Steppin' up t' motor selection for t' spinnin' oddrocs.  Managed t' get a good light on a old Aerotech D-10 and off she went!  Great boost, spinnin' like crazy on t' way up and all t' way down after burnout.  I had dumped out t' ejection charge so t' Vortico spun gracefully all t' way back t' t' field.
